Walnut Woods of Evanston Treeforestation Workday

Join us for a day of hard but fulfilling work as we continue our restoration efforts at Walnut Woods of Evanston. Tasks will focus on habitat restoration with a prairie planting workday, where we get some natives in the ground. Remember, no experience is required to attend our workdays!
Waiver: We will be on Cincinnati Parks land, so we need you to please fill out their waiver linked here!
Where to park & meet:
Walnut Woods of Evanston is located at 3259 Sulsar Street, Cincinnati, OH 45207. There is free parking along Sulsar Street. We'll meet by the Walnut Woods of Evanston kiosk and the benches, located near the trailhead.
When to meet:
Saturday, October 26, 2024 at 9am
What to bring: A refillable water bottle, bug spray and/or sunscreen, gardening gloves, closed-toed shoes, and appropriate clothing for the weather. Long pants are recommended. All other tools and gardening materials will be provided.
Weather concerns: Rain or shine! We won’t let a little rain get in the way, but if severe weather arises, we’ll notify you of any changes to the event.
