Volunteers needed to help serve the buffet style dinner at a Thanksgiving celebration for our high school scholars and their families. This event takes place at the convening center in United Way of Greater Cincinnati. We expect between 75 - 100 guests in total.
The caterer will set the dishes up as a serving line - we need 5 volunteers to welcome guests and help serve food and beverages as they move down the line. They will take their plate and drinks to the table themselves.
The guests will arrive by 6 pm and dinner will be served by 6:30 pm. You are welcome to enjoy this festive meal with everyone. Help with a quick clean-up is requested afterwards. It's an easy 20 minute clean up. Everything is disposable. We just pull centerpieces and informational materials off the tables and the rest is thrown away. You will be finished by 8 pm.
Hours are 5:30 - 8 pm and includes a traditional Thanksgiving meal for volunteers (from Garnish Catering) and of course, beverages throughout your shift.
