Saturday, May 27th- Good News Garden Workday

Join the community garden coordinator, Lyric, this Saturday May 27 from 9-11:30 AM as we have a special workday to clean up the wild "Back 40" area of the garden. We will be cutting back brush, moving mulch, and landscaping around the fruit trees in this area. We will also have a handful of lighter tasks available for those who aren't looking to do a lot of physical labor. I'm bringing snacks, you bring your friends and family! If you plan to attend, please wear long pants and close-toed shoes. There are a few patches of poison ivy growing in this area; I'm going to go through and mark them with flags and try to thoroughly cover them well before the workday, but still want everyone to be cautious.
