The West McMicken Community Garden has recently expanded their garden. The new addition was previously a blighted and abandoned lot that they are transforming to a useable green space.
The workday will run from 10am-Noon. It will include mulching, filling garden beds, weeding, and planting flowers and seeds. There may be other tasks to aid them in this project.
Please bring a reusable water bottle and wear closed toed shoes. If you have a favorite pair of working/gardening gloves, bring them! We will also provide gloves. There is free parking along W McMicken outside of the garden. The garden is offset from the road, but you will see the stone steps that lead to it.
