The Wasson Way will be planting perennials along the trail from Marburg to Madison Rd. on Saturday, Oct. 8.
We will have a group of 4 Cincinnati Master Gardeners supervising several groups of volunteers to remove some perennials that didn’t survive the summer and put some new plants in their place.
We’ll be putting in about 250 plants organized into 4 groups.
The time commitment will be approximately 2-3 hours.
Volunteers will meet at 10 am at Eastern Hills and Wasson Way, near Richards Industries and free parking is available in the vacant Richards Industries lot. The vacant Richards Industries parking lot is across from the Marburg entrance to the Wasson Way.
Please dress appropriately for working outside (closed toed shoes and long pants).
Please bring a water bottle and gloves if you have them.
All necessary tools will be provided. No prior training necessary.
We would be grateful for your service.
