Our Mission
To promote and sustain Wasson Way. A beautiful, accessible and sustainable urban greenway trail for the benefit of the residents of greater Cincinnati.
Our Vision
Wasson Way will be a world-class urban greenway trail that creates a vibrant hub of community activity, connecting and enhancing neighborhoods, schools and recreation areas across the east side of Cincinnati.
How our organization engages UC students
The Wasson Way is a community partnership that has achieved significant popularity in the Cincinnati area. The Wasson Way is a unique and innovative public-private partnership between the City of Cincinnati and the Wasson Way nonprofit organization. The Wasson Way is part of Crown an effort to build a 34-mile-long loop of trails around the City. The Wasson Way is being extended west to Avondale and east to the Little Miami Bike Trail from its current terminus at Montgomery Road.
The Wasson Way is a linear greenspace designed to be extensible to connect to the network of regional bike, running, and walking trails. The Wasson Way is the connector for enhancing the wellness of neighborhoods, schools, and recreation areas across the east side of Cincinnati. It is an extensible linear nature-based greenspace that provides for meaningfully significant strategic accumulative value in our communities.
