Description

The WWC has a number of beautiful wooded properties along the Ohio River, west of downtown.  One of our biggest tasks is removing invasive plants such as honeysuckle, so that native plants including wildflowers can return.  This is physical outside work, cutting honeysuckle, and putting the cut honeysuckle into large piles.  We regularly do this as members of the WWC, and several times a year we get help from UC students too!.  BUT WE NEED MORE HELP!  There are acres of gorgeous woods just waiting to be set free!

NOTE:  attached is a file with a lengthy description of the habitat restoration work.

Work 9:30 am until Noon (about 2 hours but get 3 hours credit).

We will work at our Kirby Preserve which is in Addyston, Ohio.

Work off some of that Thanksgiving weight gain!  And remember this is FUN OUTDOOR work in fresh air!  You get to work with other terrific UC students and mature adults.
