Description

We will be removing maintaining, improving, fixing the hiking trails at our crown jewel nature preserve, Bender Mountain.  Meet at the large parking area on Bender Road, about 1/2 mile from River Road (route 50).  9:30 am on March 27 (Saturday) for about 2 hours of work.  Physical work in the woods!  Moving stones, clearing trails, etc.

This is a beautiful place and it gets so many hikers we need to repair the trails.

We have had a number of these projects, successfully, with UC students over the past several years.  This is perfect weather for such work.  Cool enough for long sleeves and long pants.  Wear sturdy shoes and clothes you can get dirty.

Spend time outdoors!
