IPJH is partnering with Catholic Charities of Southwestern Ohio to lead health and hygiene cultural orientations for refugees who have recently settled in Cincinnati and we are looking for volunteers to help! Your role as the volunteer is to present a pre-made powerpoint presentation outlining US healthcare basics and answer questions. Topics include deciding whether something is urgent or routine, what to expect at a doctor's appointment, hygiene, and preventative healthcare.
