Description

Want to make a BIG impact in the fight against Alzheimer’s? We’re looking for passionate, outgoing volunteers to join the Community Engagement Planning Team for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s – Cincinnati Tri-State! This team is all about building relationships and creating excitement in the community to grow participation and fundraising for Walk day.

As part of the team, you’ll help recruit and retain Walk teams, connect with Champions Club members, and spread awareness about our mission. You’ll play a key role in planning kickoff and recognition events, making phone calls to team captains and community contacts, and leading grassroots outreach efforts that inspire people to get involved.

This is a flexible volunteer role—much of the work can be done from home—but you’ll also have opportunities to attend fun events and collaborate with other passionate advocates. You’ll work closely with staff and fellow volunteers to make sure every team feels supported and every participant knows they’re part of something meaningful.

What’s Involved:

  • About 9–10 months of engagement, including planning meetings and Walk day participation
  • Recruiting new community teams and stewarding existing ones
  • Cultivating Champions Club members and celebrating their impact
  • Bringing creative ideas to build excitement and awareness in Northern Kentucky

Ready to turn passion into progress? Contact Dan Woody at dawoody@alz.org and help us make this year’s Walk unforgettable!
