About our Organization

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Vision: A world without Alzheimer's disease and all other dementia. Our Impact: Through our many initiatives and worldwide reach, the Alzheimer’s Association leads the charge in Alzheimer’s care, support, research and advocacy. Our Commitment to Research: Our commitment to accelerating the global effort to eliminate Alzheimer's disease and other dementias is at the core of all we do. Our Values: Inclusivity, community, accountability, agility and integrity are the core values that define the Alzheimer’s Association’s culture and people.

How our organization engages UC students

Currently we have had interns working with our programs and services team to help with families on this journey, helping to educate the public on the disease, prevention, and resources. We have also had students help at our largest awareness and fundraising event the Walk to End Alzheimer's with day of set-up, registration and teams.
