Event Description:
Bark your calendars for the Howl, Voice of America MetroPark's costumed-canine celebration. Explore Wiggly Field with your dog, visit treat stations sponsored by friends from the local pet community and compete in the cutest costume contest Butler County has ever seen! Create canine cuisine, test out enriching toys, and spark your dog's creativity to become the next Pupcasso.
Task:
- We are looking for Volunteers to help with the Program and activity stations spread around Wiggly Field
The role varies depending on interest and capabilities but ranges from supporting craft stations to demonstration stations. Once you sign up we will reach out directly to find which role makes the most sense for you!
Volunteers must be comfortable interacting with the public.
- This role may be done from a seated or standing position depending on the assignment
We are seeking volunteers to support the welcome table and help process payments for participants
- Volunteers will work with Programming staff to welcome participants to this year's The Howl and help answer general event questions.
- Volunteers may be responsible for handling cash as participants must pay to attend the event Cash Handling waiver must be read and signed before the event start
- This role can be done from a seated or standing position

Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
