Event Description:
Think rocks are boring? Join MetroParks and we'll change your mind! We'll go on a short hike to search the creek for fossils that will tell an epic tale of how Cincinnati looked 450 million years ago. From animals to the environment and everything in between, there's a lot you can learn from a simple rock on the ground.
Task:
Volunteers will support MetroParks staff in the setting up of supplies, activity stations, keeping the group together, and interacting with program participants.
No prior experience is required

Saturday. August 17th, 9:00 am - 11:30 am

Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
