Help build community, and lend the KSO a hand during it's free “POPS, Inc.” concert. Volunteers pass out programs, work donation boxes and or the concession stand. (Specific task/duties are assigned at check-in.) The KSO’s 30th Summer Park Series finale salutes composers/arrangers Leroy Anderson, Richard Hayman and Henry Mancini whose music provided the musical “pop” behind Arthur Fielder and gave rise to the fame of the Boston Pops from 1930-1979, and “pops” orchestras world-wide. Hear Moon River, Little Brown Jug, Bugler’s Holiday and many more. Who knew the typewriter was a musical instrument?
