Event Description:
What better way to enjoy mid-summer than with fun programs in YOUR MetroParksParks! Join us on Friday mornings and explore a different park each week. Creek with Butler Soil & Water educator Lynn White, meet MetroParks’ program animals, learn more about plants and explore art in the parks.
Task:
Volunteers will support staff in the setting up of supplies and activity stations, helping keep the group together, and interacting with program participants. Volunteers may be asked to help move the Program animals, including reptiles and amphibians.
No prior experience is required, knowledge of native plants, animals, insects, and minerals is a plus

Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
