Event Description:
Kickoff the Great American Campout with us in June! Don’t know a trilobite from a damselfly? Want to see a box turtle in person? We’ve got you covered as your family samples some of our favorite nature activities to try in your own backyard. From your first step in the creek until the last dying campfire ember, this will be one bash to remember!
Task:
We are looking for volunteers to help provide general help for the event by doing several tasks including but not limited to event setup, check-in table/registration, activity station support, hiking sweeps, and tear-down

Weather:
We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.
Accommodations:
The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins
