UC's Remote Area Medical Chapter will be hosting a free healthcare clinic on July 27th and 28th, 2024. The event will provide free medical, dental, and vision services to low-income or uninsured populations in Cincinnati. The event will be hosted at St. Xavier High School which is ~15 minutes away from UC's main campus.
Medical students play an integral role in this initiative. Tasks may include:
- Assisting attending physicians/faculty with patient intake and triage
- Conducting basic medical screenings (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
- Providing patient education on preventive healthcare measures
- Collaborating with the medical team to ensure efficient clinic operations
Volunteering shifts include:
Saturday, July 27th from 6am-6pm
Sunday, July 28th from 6am-3pm
