Date & Duration: Sunday May 5th, 9:00am - 12:00pm

Meeting Location: Angst Nature Preserve MetroPark, 4050 Trenton-Oxford Road Hamilton OH 45011 (There will be signage directing Volunteers to the job site)

Tasks: We will plant new young trees in the fenced-in tree lot as part of the MetroParks reforestation project.

  • Long pants
  • Sturdy, closed-toed shoes
  • Weather-appropriate clothing and layers (Warm jacket, rain jacket, hat, extra layer, etc.)
  • Sunglasses (Optional; For sun protection during outside activities.)
  • Work gloves (Optional; Available through MetroParks.)
  • Water bottle (we will have a refill station avalible)
  • Snacks
  • MetroParks will provide all other tools necessary to complete the tasks for the day.

Weather: We will work through light rain but cancel for thunderstorms or severe weather. Please check the forecast to ensure you all bring the necessary items and wear the proper clothing.

Accommodations: The MetroParks may provide accommodation to volunteer project participants depending on the nature of the tasks. Any request must be sent directly to the Manager of Volunteer Resources at least two days before the project begins.
