Work with Parks staff to mulch tree rings, picnic & playset arras throughout both parks.
Be prepared for the weather, wear long pants, layers/lightweight clothes, close-toed shoes are required. Gloves recommended, there will be a limited supply on site. Suggested: refillable water bottle. Cincinnati Parks discourages single - use plastics.
Volunteers will use pitchforks to load mulch in to wheelbarrows and heavy rakes to distribute the mulch around the trees. Parks staff and our experienced volunteers will provide orientation and guidance through the process. Litter sticks and buckets/bags will be used to remove litter.
