Come join the Community Action Team in TUC cinema for a screening of the documentary “Urban Renewal Means Negro Removal,” an exploration into how historic redlining, gentrification, and urban renewal practices have impacted POC communities.
The event will include:
- A ~30-minute showing of the documentary
- Followed by a 30-minute discussion about takeaways, thoughts regarding the topics discussed, and potential opportunities for addressing this contemporarily.
Admission is completely free. All you need to get your 1-hour credit is to show up, be attentive, and be prepared to share with the group your thoughts!
