THE GOOD NEIGHBOR PROJECT is the Powel Crosley YMCA's largest volunteer day of the year. It's a morning of teamwork and celebration where both Y and community members serve side by side to complete dozens of projects that improve our facilities and in turn better serves our guests. There will be dozens of projects with one for every individual, no matter your skill or ability. So please join us on Saturday, April 27th from 8:45am-12pm, then for our cookout and celebration from 12-2pm. After all, many hands make light work!
Currently, we are recruiting the following positions:
* Project Leads - As the projects are defined, we are looking for volunteers to help provide leadership and guidance to small teams as they complete specific projects. You will get to work closely with the Y staff as they plan the activities for the day.
* General volunteers - Come one and all! People who are willing to roll up your sleeves and help in various ways will be our driving force for all that good that will be done that day. Specific projects assignments that meet your passions and skills will be determined closer to the actual event. Look for more details to come in March.
* Hospitality Volunteers - People who love to feed other's hearts, souls and stomachs are needed to help coordinate snacks and lunch for all of our volunteers. The Hospitality Team will help us celebrate all the good work that will be done by and with our neighbors!
