The Hydraulic Canal in Hamilton is bordered by the bike trail, a bird sanctuary, and the North End neighborhood. A bunch of trash gets dumped there, with a lot ending up in the bird sanctuary. Our goal is to remove as much trash as possible, helping to improve water quality and habitat for local wildlife.
The plan is to break into groups and tackle trash:
-
Along Joe Nuxhall Blvd
-
Along Canal Rd and Campbell Dr
-
In the bird Sanctuary opposite Morey Ave
-
Along the canal in LJ Smith Park
