Be BOLD Now: Nonprofit Board Leadership
A program to illustrate different ways students can be involved with the nonprofits in their community. Participants will gain an introduction to nonprofit boards, learn about career options in the nonprofit industry and volunteer leadership opportunities as young professionals.
Goal: The goal is to provide students at the University of Cincinnati with exposure and knowledge of the workings of nonprofit boards and the nonprofit sector. As part of UC’s strategic vision Next Lives Here, the Warren Bennis Leadership Institute strives to engage students with organizations in their community, while giving them leadership opportunities to do so. The program will be presented in collaboration with the Leadership Council for Nonprofits, located in Digital Futures.
