Speak Up Speak Out is a Cincinnati Public Schools initiative to give students a chance to change something that they believe can be made better in their school and/or their community. It is a chance for you to be heard and speak up about change. If you are passionate about social change, what better way to work toward a more equitable community than to support the next generation in developing the skills and knowledge they'll need to advance the changes you want to see in this world?
Join CPS Speak Up Speak Out on Tuesday, February 27 from 10:00a - 1:00p in TUC to support their visit to UC.
Volunteer roles include:
- Facilitate small group activities and break-out sessions
- Support tech and A/V needs (changing slides, starting videos, nothing major)
- Help navigating TUC
- Helping distribute materials and supplies for activities
- Passing out lunches
- Clean-up
When you register for this opportunity...
- If you can only help for a portion of the event, include that in the notes when you respond to this need.
- If you have a preference for your volunteer role, include that in the notes when you respond to this need.
- Mark your calendar and keep this commitment--we are counting on you to help local youth know they are supported in making change!
