Looking for a new way to get involved with the parks, curious about what it takes to raise farm animals? Meet with Metroparks staff for a monthly orientation of our Farm Animal Care program. See what it takes to work with the farm animals living at Chrisholm Historic Farmstead!
You'll get a hands-on opportunity to work with the animals during either the AM or PM animal care shifts and get an idea of the expectations and responsibilities of our volunteer Farm Caretakers.
Dress to work outside and with your hands This is a family-friendly volunteer opportunity, No tools or special training is required!
Location: Chrisholm MetroPark, 2070 Woodsdale Road, Trenton OH 45067
- The AM shift begins at 9:30 a.m. (Typically takes ~2 hours.)
- The PM shift begins at 3 p.m. (Typically takes ~1 hour.)
