Join us for Rest & Resilience (R&R) on Saturday, January 27th from 1:30pm-5:15pm!
This respite event allows for special needs families to get a break when they need it. Spend the afternoon having fun and building into a small group of kids (0-24 years old) in need of extra support. We use these R&R events to focus on more resilience building activities layered with fun! Why? Because we want Pause kids to know they are loved, worthy of extravagant inclusion and ultimately we want to build their self-esteem.
Volunteer options:

Small group leader or helper - You will lead or help lead resilience based activities with a group of kids (all supplies provided including a script of what to say before, during and after and activity!)

Being a 1:1 buddy with a kiddo with higher needs - think of it as being a kiddo's extra set of hands and friend! And don't worry, we have staff there to support and guide you!
