Volunteers will help package meals, distribute them, work the bag check, help sanitize and clean the Dining Room and Lobby, and help organize the pantry when needed. To Volunteer, you must have no health issues. Children under 16 must have a parent/guardian present to Volunteeer.
With the warmer weather, we want to remind all of our Dress Code Requirements. Volunteers must wear closed-toe shoes, and full-sleeve t-shirts/dresses are required: no open-toed shoes, flip-flops, or water shoes, no tank tops/dresses, cut-off shirts, crop-tops, or anything where the armpit is showing. If you choose to wear shorts or a skirt, they must come to the knee. SFSM is a faith-based organization that serves a vulnerable population.
A friendly encounter can help brighten our guests’ days – and as a volunteer, you might be surprised at how much this experience will brighten yours as well!
