Volunteers are the backbone of Autism Speaks Walks. These events would not be possible without their dedication and support. We are grateful for their time and talent that helps reduce costs and dedicate more funds to our mission. Autism Speaks Walk volunteers can help in many ways — assist in set-up and/or clean-up, greet participants as they arrive or cheer our walkers on at mid-point water stops. You can even recruit your friends and family to form a volunteer team!
Volunteers will join us between 7am-7:30am to help set-up signage, registration & activity tables and stay a half an hour after the walk to help tear down. The event schedule is as follows:
9:00 a.m. - Registration & Children's Activities
10:00 a.m. - Mission Moment Presentation on the Main Stage
10:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. - Walk
