Service Project: Mill Creek Work Party with the Mill Creek Alliance
Volunteers will work alongside adults with disabilities and facilitate their work through conversation, coaching and helping with physical accommodations. The Marjorie Book leader will pair volunteers with members and give direction if the partner will need help.
Date and Time: Saturday, June 3 from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Mill Creek Trail in Northside - park by the Yellow Bridge, 3575 Millcreek Rd
The Mill Creek Alliance is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the stewardship and protection of Cincinnati's Mill Creek (Mill Creek Alliance (themillcreekalliance.org)). On a regular basis, they gather volunteers for Saturday morning "work parties" to clear out invasive plants. We will be joining them for their event in Northside on June 3. There are unfortunately no restrooms at this location.
