You will need to complete a background check through the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and complete a short, 30-minute interview.
What is a Music Lab?
- A music lab is an instrument petting zoo.
- This is an opportunity for children (and adults) to gain hands-on experience with instruments.
Music Lab Duties:
- Setting up instruments
- Assisting children and adults with trying out the instruments.
- Educate children and adults about the instruments they are trying out.
Qualifications:
- Must be able to be outside and on your feet for the duration of your shift.
- Must be able to attend a training in June
- Helpful if you have played an instrument before.
- Positive attitude and welcoming demeanor
- Ability to interact with the public, staff, and other volunteers in a friendly and helpful manner.
Attire:
- Ultra Casual (CSO/Pops/other t-shirt with jeans). Dress to be comfortable for outside and prepare for the weather. A name tag will be provided for you -- please return it before you leave.
