Hi Prospective Volunteers,
This Saturday April 15th, we are going to be moving a truck load of soil to top up the 20 garden beds at our Mt. Auburn Preparatory Academy beds. The food we grow here goes to local residents in the community and school families. Additionally, we will be building 4 new raised beds for native pollinator plants as well alongside the Horticulture club at UC. This garden is part of the Magic Garden collaborative in Mt. Auburn, about a mile away from UC.
We are meeting at 10am at 216 Southern Avenue and will work for about 2 hours and then finish with eating pizza together. If you have any questions, call or text Nick Shaver @ 832-455-8832 or email at nickshaver06@gmail.com.
