Marjorie Book Continuing Education seeks volunteers to participate in and learn alongside adults and teens with disabilities. Volunteers can be paired with an individual with a disability to help facilitate their participation in the class.
Spinning off from our Introduction to Poetry class that has run for several years - during 2023, we will use the time to work more on the poetry drafts we have begun to write. Volunteers will help provide accommodations (including scribing, spelling, following the steps of the writing process as instructed by the instructor, facilitating brainstorming of options, etc) to individuals with disabilities.
This is an indoor event. Please wear a mask, if you will be attending.
