In need of volunteers for the upcoming Oktoberfest Festival this November 4, 5, 6. On average our shifts are 3.5 hour intervals, but you're welcome to stay as long as you want. With every shift there is free authentic German food and drinks provided! (alcoholic or non-alcoholic depending on age). Our need is for people to help out with the parking crew, the largest volunteer group at the Germania Society of Cincinnati. During the weekend the parking crew tackles so many tasks and oversees thousands of guests coming in and out of the event. Tasks include, but are never limited to directing traffic, taking parking tickets, working the entry gates, providing golf cart services to elderly and volunteers, communicating with the law enforcement and medics on site, cleaning up any trash left in the yards, etc. Any caliber of help from all ages is welcome and encouraged, feel free to bring your friends along as well.
