Assist Parks staff with various tasks to clean up Jackson Hill Park. Volunteers will work on invasive plant removal at Jackson Hill Park. This will help improve the ecological health of the park, increase sight lines and safety of the park, and provide easier access for staff to mow and care for the park. Planting, mulching and clean up of the shelter.
Volunteers will use loppers and or handsaws to cut back honeysuckle plants and stack or drag the cut brush.
- Close-toed shoes and face covering are required.
- Long pants, layered clothing appropriate to the weather.
- Recommended: Hat, sunscreen & a water bottle.
- We will have latex gloves for you if you do not have your own.
