These events are for families to get a break when they need it. They function like a Parent's Night Out with activities and fun, just with a smaller group. We use these events to focus on more resilience building activities layered with fun! Why? Because we want Pause kids to know they are loved, worthy of extravagant inclusion and ultimately we want to build their self-esteem.
The events will be at different times during the week and day. Pick what works for you! Dates will be released as needed.
Volunteer roles include:

Leading resilience based activities with a group of kids (all supplies provided including a script of what to say before, during and after and activity!)

Being a 1:1 buddy with a kiddo with high needs - think of it as being a kiddo's extra set of hands and friend!

And most importantly - have fun!
