High Achievers Aim High (H.A.A.H.) is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to support our After-School and Tutoring Program. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a direct impact on students’ academic success and confidence.
Volunteers will work alongside staff to assist school-age children (K–8) with homework, reading, math, and enrichment activities in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting students with homework and academic support (reading, math, etc.)
- Supporting small group tutoring and one-on-one learning activities
- Helping maintain a structured, positive, and focused learning environment
- Encouraging student participation, confidence, and positive behavior
- Assisting with enrichment activities and transitions
Ideal candidate:
- Has a passion for working with youth and supporting academic growth
- Is patient, reliable, and able to engage with children of varying skill levels
- Has strong communication and basic academic skills
- Experience in education or tutoring is a plus, but not required
