Join the Center for Community Engagement as we spread new playground mulch at the early learning center near campus!
Formerly the UC Early Learning Center, now called Empower Learn Create, this nonprofit childcare center has been serving our community since 1973.
The service site location on Ruther Avenue (next door to University Edge Apartments) is an easy walk or shuttle ride from campus. Take the North Route shuttle (https://uc.doublemap.com/map/) or walk to 3310 Ruther Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45220 to help out.
Just show up dressed for the weather and we'll provide gloves, wheelbarrows, and rakes! We will spread mulch across all the playground spaces and enjoy each other's company in some good old-fashioned outdoor community service for the benefit of local children.
