Come join the Student National Medical Association at the 4 local Boys and Girls Clubs on Thursday, March 24th 4-5:30pm (plus travel time) to help introduce local children to the STEM field!! Anyone is welcome to volunteer. We would love to have students from different STEM fields like Pharmacy, Medical Science, Biomedical Engineering, Dental Hygienist, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Nutrition Science, Medical Students.
10 Students at each of the following 4 sites will have an opportunity to teach middle and high school aged different activities/skills from your respective field and share your experience on a panel. Proof of Covid vaccination is required, so please email or text a picture of your covid card to the contact below, or bring it with you! Once you sign up, an event coordinator will reach out a few days before on groupme/email to go over logistics for the day of. When you sign up, please write your phone number and email in the notes section.
