Our "Why Are You Voting in the Spring Primary" tabling events will occur on April 19 from 11AM-3PM and April 21 9AM-12PM at UC MainStreet (outdoors). If you are interested in getting students excited about the May 3 Ohio Primary Election, consider signing up to help staff the events.
During this time, volunteers will:
- Ask students to write down why they are voting in the Primary Election this May on post it notes
- After students write down their answers, they will post their post-it notes to one of our whiteboards. Volunteers will then organize the post-its according to topic.
- Volunteers will pass out nonpartisan voter guides and other free giveaways.
- Volunteers will also help students identify their polling locations and they will answer questions students might have about the Primary Election.
