Sunday is when we break down all the decorations for each of the Finneytown AfterProm rooms. We transform the high school every year in a different theme, so we have to pack it all up after the event. We replace the desks and chairs, unhang blackout curtains and return them to storage. There will be physical labor, carrying totes, desks and chairs, climbing ladders, unhanging lights, etc… Pizza is provided for lunch.
We strongly advise the following;
Wear comfortable shoes that protect your toes.
Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting dirty.
Bring a reusable water container.
This is really hard work, but it’s very rewarding to create this atmosphere for our students to enjoy and stay safe on prom night.
