Every year we collect hundreds of boxes of food to feed families in our local Clifton community. About half of these boxes are full Thanksgiving meals that feed a family of 6-8 (including a frozen turkey) and we work with local school partners to identify specific families who could use some help for a good Thanksgiving meal. The other half of the boxes are Food Pantry boxes which go to St George Food Pantry (across from UPA) and the Bearcat Food Pantry (they are amazing!) that feeds UC students who need it.
We'd love you to join us on Sunday, Nov 21st as we collect these boxes in the Crossroads Uptown parking lot from 8am-12pm and throw a small party while we're at it. Complete with full Turkey costumes and silly turkey hats. Let's do some good and have some fun doing it. Spots are limited, sign up now through UC Comm Engagement.
