The Upward Bound Program is a federally sponsored Trio Program housed in CECH. Its target population consists principally of students in CPS schools. The students are in grades 9-12. The program supports students with completing high school requirements to graduation and getting into college.
Volunteers will tutor high school students grades 9-12 on Saturdays in the following subjects:
Chemistry, Algebra 1 and or 2, pre-Calculus, Geometry, Biology, Intro to statics, Anatomy and Physiology, Spanish 1 and 2, Physical science, Advanced Composition, Computer Programming, and Coding.
The assignment begins on Saturday, October 16th and tutoring will be needed on a bi-weekly basis throughout the semester to April 30, 2022.
No tutoring will be provided on:
March 19th- UC Spring Break
March 26th
April 2nd
( Note: Tutoring will be provided on April 9th and 30th)
Saturday tutoring sessions will be held in computer labs in Teacher’s College. Labs 502, 504, 525, 528
