Phoenix Outreach June 12 - Mulch Project Phase 2

Hi Everyone!

Phase 1 of the Phoenix mulch project went extremely well in May. We are so thankful for all the Kings High School students that removed the old wood mulch from the playground! They also weeded and mulched other areas around the building.

Phase 2 is scheduled for June 12th.  During this time, we will be laying new rubber mulch in the playground. We need at least 30 people for this final phase since it's a lot of work. When it's completed, the students can play in a safer and healthier environment!

Here's the information about the outreach:

When: Saturday, June 12th

Time: 8:45 - 1:00 (lunch included)

Where: Phoenix Community Learning Center, 3595 Washington Ave, Cincinnati, OH 45229

Bring: Wheelbarrows, garden rakes, wide flat shovels and work gloves, if you have them
