Virtual Recruitment Volunteer - All Campus Blood Drive (04/12/21-04/16/21)

The Virtual Recruitment Volunteer need was established to help provide busy students an opportunity to volunteer on your own time, virtually.  The primary function of this need is to Post/Re-Post Hoxworth Social Media approved communication to any social media outlet.  Examples of approved communication are anything that Hoxworth Blood Center puts out on social media about blood donation, donor stories, and the UC blood drive, as well as, photos.  You may also post appropriate pictures of yourself at the blood drive or donating.  Please asks others permission if they are included in your photos.  

Your posts should attempt to focus on the need for blood donors at the UC All Campus Blood Drive happening on McMicken Commons from Monday, April 12th until Friday, April 16th.  Posting/Re-posting approved communication on your public page notifies your followers about the blood drive and encourages others to donate to help patients in our community.  

Volunteers can submit up to two (2) hours of community service credit for this activity and are expected to commit close to the amount of time you submit as credit for this activity.  Volunteers should post multiple times over the timeframe from March 29^th to April 16th in order to receive the full two (2) hours of credit. 

This is a great virtual opportunity to earn community service credit for volunteering on your own time.  Verification is through a simple process of tagging Hoxworth Blood Center on your posts, posts should be public, not private.
