Washington Park Annuals Installation

Work with Parks Staff to install the annual displays at Washington Park! 1230 Elm Street, 45202 Parking available in garage and will be validated.
Meet at the Bandstand and staff will direct you.
Volunteers will use hand trowels and or shovels to plant annuals throughout the park. Kneeling, bending, reaching and DIRT involved!
Volunteers should be prepared for the weather (layered clothing), wear long pants. Close-toed and sturdy hard sole shoes are required. Recommended: Work gloves (if you own them), sunscreen, face covering and a refillable water bottle. There will be work gloves available to borrow. Cincinnati Parks discourages single use plastics.
Regarding Covid-19:
In efforts to stop the spread, for the safety of our staff, volunteers and community please consider the following guidelines:
- Please take your temperature within 4 hours of the start of the project. If your temperature is higher than 100.4*, do not attend. Call or text Christyl @ 513.240.5735 to alert staff that you will not be present.
- Do not participate If you or someone in your home is symptomatic (e.g., fever, cough, shortness of breath), or if someone you’ve come into close contact with is under investigation or diagnosed with a laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19.
- Please use face covering and practice social distancing at all times while on the site.
- Please use gloves at all times to handle the tools and equipment.
