Service Project - Mill Creek Trail Clean Up

Expired

Description

The Mill Creek Trail is a multi-use walking and biking trail that runs in segments from Cathage to Northside.  We will use “reacher” tools to pick up litter along the rail and prevent it from polluting the Mill Creek, Cincinnati’s urban stream that stretches from Butler County to the Ohio River.  We’ll work rain or shine and meet in the parking lot of the Caldwell Playground.  While it is not required, it might be a good idea to let us know you are coming at marjoriebook1993@gmail.com.

Masks and social distancing is required.

Location:  Meet at Caldwell Playground, 316 West North Bend Road, Carthage

Our mission is to bring teenagers and adults with and without disabilities together for projects of mutual interest.  We have proudly offered continuing education classes, service projects and theatrical plays to the community for the last 27 years.  We are taking a break in February 2021 but back for programs in March and April 2021.

Marjorie Book seeks UC students to participate in the activity and facilitate conversation and participation of teens and adults with disabilities.
