Marjorie Book Virtual Events
Our mission is to bring teenagers and adults with and without disabilities together for projects of mutual interest. We have proudly offered continuing education classes, service projects and theatrical plays to the community for the last 27 years. The recent pandemic has limited our ability to offer these programs in 2020, but we are excited about some upcoming activities that align with our mission to bring people together.
Our group of 6-12 participants plays Star Finder on a monthly basis. Starfinder is an interactive role playing game similar to Dungeons and Dragons (https://paizo.com/starfinder)
Volunteers are sought to participate in our online game with participants with disabilities while working through scenarios as your own character would.
To join our virtual events, please register in advance by contacting Joe Link at marjoriebook1993@gmail.com or 513-328-6300. We can accept registrations up to one hour before the virtual event begins. When you register, you will receive an invitation by email to join us through a system called WebEx. WebEx is very easy to use and similar to Zoom. For persons who are visually impaired, please know that WebEx has a call-in phone number, in case that is helpful.
