Support this free event for the public at Mt. Airy Forest.
Performances provided by Cincinnati Circus include: Wheel of Destiny!, Aerial Acrobatics!, Stilt Walker, Juggler and Fire Performer. Organized groups will provide performances such as line dancing, karate, etc.
Volunteers will be tasked with keeping the cars moving, controlling the flow of traffic, encouraging social distance, and working a water station for performers.
Report to "The Oval" In Mt Airy Forest between 12:15 - 12:30. Wear bright clothing, costumes, face paint, or anything bright and colorful.
Volunteers should be prepared for the weather (lightweight clothing), wear long pants. Close-toed and sturdy hard sole shoes are required. Recommended: Work gloves (if you own them), sunscreen, face covering and a refillable water bottle. There will be work gloves available to borrow and a water cooler will be provided on site for volunteers to refill bottles. Cincinnati Parks discourages single use plastics.
Regarding Covid-19:
In efforts to stop the spread, for the safety of our staff, volunteers and community please consider the following guidelines:
- Please take your temperature within 4 hours of the start of the project. If your temperature is higher than 100.4*, do not attend. Call or text Christyl @ 513.240.5735 to alert staff that you will not be present.
- Do not participate If you or someone in your home is symptomatic (e.g., fever, cough, shortness of breath), or if someone you’ve come into close contact with is under investigation or diagnosed with a laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19.
- Please use face covering and practice social distancing at all times while on the site.
- Please use gloves at all times to handle the tools and equipment.
