Cincinnati Parks is hosting more than a dozen service projects city- wide for National Public Lands Day (NPLD). 

Saturday, September 26 9am - 12pm

Project locations :

Burnet Woods @ Trailside Nature Center - litter pick up around the lake 

Mt. Storm - less than one mile from campus - mulching 

Please indicate in the "notes" section which location you will attend.  

Volunteers should be prepared for the weather (lightweight clothing), wear long pants. Close-toed and sturdy hard sole shoes are required. Recommended: Work gloves (if you own them), sunscreen, face covering and a refillable water bottle. There will be work gloves available to borrow and  a water cooler will be provided on site for volunteers to refill bottles. Cincinnati Parks discourages single use plastics.

Regarding Covid-19:

In efforts to stop the spread, for the safety of our staff, volunteers and community please consider the following guidelines:

  • Please take your temperature within 4 hours of the start of the project. If your temperature is higher than 100.4*, do not attend. Call or text Christyl @ 513.240.5735 to alert staff that you will not be present.
  • Do not participate If you or someone in your home is symptomatic (e.g., fever, cough, shortness of breath), or if someone you’ve come into close contact with is under investigation or diagnosed with a laboratory-confirmed case of COVID-19.
  • Please use face covering and practice social distancing at all times while on the site.
  • Please use gloves at all times to handle the tools and equipment.
