Blood Drive Assistance

On Monday, August 31st, Hoxworth Blood Center will be having an on campus blood drive on McMicken Commons from 10:00 AM -5:00 PM.  Hoxworth will have three donation buses on-site and will need some assistance from volunteers with working with Hoxworth staff to help keep everyone social distanced, directing donors to various buses for donations, signing up donors for a later blood drive, and generally making sure the blood drive runs well.  

We have allowed for up to four volunteers to participate for a 3.5 hour time frame on two different shifts (early, 10:00 AM - 1:30 PM and late, 1:30 PM - 5:00 PM).  We know this is a long commitment for a day, but also are limiting the amount of volunteer participants due to COVID-19. Everyone will need to be practicing social distancing protocols and wearing a mask while participating with the blood drive.
